Vortex MAPS provide considerably more detail than the free 9Km INTERFACE, injecting and capturing finer wind circulations. Fully selectable areas can be customized up to an extension covering a small country. Although not advisable for decisions at finer scales, Vortex MAPS may be extremely useful for a first, orientative survey.
