Vortex MAST has been designed for the preliminary stages of wind site development, when the investment risk is highest. Vortex MAST provides 1 or 20-year statistics at any location world-wide estimated with Microscale resolution (100m), at a small fraction of the price and delivery time of a real mast installation.
-Any location world-wide, both on and off-shore
-Computed at 100m resolution
-Any height between 50 and 150m (all them available during post-processing)
-1-year: 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 (any 1-year intermediate period) or 20-years (including climatological uncertainty)
-Wind speed histogram with its Weibull fit and associated uncertainty ranges derived from an ensemble calculation
-16-sectors wind direction rose
-Table cross referencing wind speed and direction
-Mean temperature & density
-Exportable to industry-standard TAB format, suitable for use with WAsP, WindSim, etc
MAST is currently the only product of the market that you can directly compare against your measured data in order to get a first-hand, site-specific measure of the reliability of our modeling service. This is because our modeling refers to an actual measurement period (not to a hipotetical "typical year") and it is computed non-linearly at Microscale (100m) resolution meaning that local effects have been taken into account as much as current technology allows.

Wouldn't it be sensible to try our service before purchasing it?
You are welcome!
We encourage our visitors to try Vortex products and get first-hand experience on their possibilities.
Vortex 1-year MAST is the only product on the market that you can directly compare against your data to help you to estimate the
reliability of our model simulations without intermediates.
Comparisons are completely confidential since they are performed locally on your PC meaning that your data will never leave your office.
And all at a very attractive price:
